Product Features: A high-end 2K acrylic full matte clear coat. It delivers high hardness with an exceptionally smooth surface, excellent weatherability, and scratch resistance, while perfectly showcasing the underlying base color. Suitable for application on 1K metallic or solid color basecoats. Different matte effects can be achieved by mixing it with various conventional clear coats.

Mixing Ratio(Weight Ratio): Clear Coat : Hardener : Thinner=3 :1 : 1.5-2
Viscosity after mixing (at spraying viscosity, Ford #4 cup, 25°C): Approx. 14-20 seconds.
Pot Life After Mixing (25°C): Recommended to be applied within 3 hours.
Spray Gun Caliber: Gravity-feed spray gun: 1.2 – 1.4 mm.
Spray Pressure: 1.8 – 2.5 bar.
Application Method: Apply 2 – 3 coats with a flash-off time of 5 - 7 minutes between coats.
Room Temperature Drying Method (25℃):
Surface Drying Time: About 10-20 Minutes
Hard Drying Time: About 2 Hours
Baking Process (60°C):
After the final coat of matte clear is applied, flash for approximately 10 minutes, then gradually heat to 60°C (140°F) and bake for 10 minutes. Once baking is complete, allow the film to cool to room temperature.
Guidelines for using with regular Clear Coat/Varnish:
70% Gloss： ZTX9300+2K Clear Coat = 7 : 3
30% Gloss： ZTX9300+2K Clear Coat = 8 : 2
10% Gloss： ZTX9300+2K Clear Coat = 9 : 1
Notes:
1. Different matte effects can be achieved by mixing with regular conventional clear coats. The more conventional clear coat added, the more hardener must be proportionally increased. Failure to do so may result in slower drying and unsatisfactory film performance.
2. When the application environment temperature is < 15°C (59°F), air drying is not recommended; forced drying (baking) is advised.
3. When the application environment temperature is > 30°C (86°F), it is recommended to add an appropriate amount of 506 anti-blushing agent to prevent pinholing and blushing.
4. Clean all spraying tools with thinner immediately after use to avoid difficult cleaning after the clear coat has cured.
5. The clear coat mixed with hardener must be used promptly and cannot be stored.
Packaging and Storage: 1L*12/CTN, 5L *4/CTN.
Store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place. Shelf life in unopened original packaging is 2 years.
